Northern Province Minister, Hon. Leonard Mbao (MP), today reinforced the province’s commitment to accelerated national goals, urging departments to refine their strategies to boost service delivery.
Speaking at the third quarter Provincial Development Coordinating Committee (PDCC) Meeting in Kasama, the Honorable Minister referenced President Hakainde Hichilema’s key mandate: economic transformation and job creation.
He commended the province for “impressive gains” in health, education, and infrastructure.
While social services remain the core focus, Hon. Mbao stressed that all departments must “continually refine their approach, improve service delivery, and ensure full alignment with provincial and national development priorities that directly benefit the populace.”
Meanwhile, in his welcoming remarks, Provincial Permanent Secretary Mr. Bernard Mpundu highlighted the importance of synergy, stating that stakeholders must “harness collective potential to drive development and enhance the lives of citizens.”
The PDCC is acknowledged as a critical moment for charting a sustainable course and ensuring development plans are successfully implemented.
