Matipa Police Post, constructed at a cost of K1,225,678.50, has been officially handed over to the community in Chilubi District.
Funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), this facility is set to enhance local security and support law enforcement efforts.
During the handover ceremony, Northern Province Permanent Secretary Mr. Bernard Mpundu urged community members to protect the facility from vandalism and to ensure its long-term sustainability.
He emphasized that such infrastructure is vital for fostering safety and development in the area.
This initiative aligns with the government’s broader strategy to utilize CDF for community-driven projects that address local needs, including enhancing security infrastructure.
