The Provincial ICT Unit – Northern Province recently welcomed Cuthbert Ndhlovu, a 3rd Year Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity student f rom Kapasa Makasa University, as part of its ongoing commitment to nurturing young ICT talent.
Mr. Ndhlovu began his internship on Tuesday, 26th November 2024, and was formally oriented on Friday, 29th November 2024, by Senior ICT Officer Warren C. Kambangu. The orientation session introduced him to the unit’s operations, including its role in supporting government departments with technology services and advancing innovative ICT solutions for the province.
During the orientation, the importance of cybersecurity in protecting critical data and maintaining secure ICT systems was highlighted. Mr. Ndhlovu will engage in various tasks and projects designed to align with his academic background while equipping him with practical skills essential for his future career.
The Provincial ICT Unit expressed confidence in Mr. Ndhlovu’s potential to contribute meaningfully to ongoing initiatives and underscored its commitment to fostering an environment conducive to learning and professional growth.
