Govt to roll out more development to the North-President Hichilema

Kasama—President Hakainde Hichilema has re-affirmed his government’s commitment to continue rolling out development in Northern Province.
Speaking upon arrival at Kasama Airport this morning, President Hichilema said government is dedicated to ensuring that people in the region receive development in an organized and progressive manner.
Mr Hichilema said he is happy that Kasama Airport is fully completed and operational, in line with the promise he made to Paramount Chief Chitimukulu.
He said his government delivered on free education which people including in Northern Province are benefiting.
In welcoming the President, Northern Province Minister Leonard Mbao thanked the Head of State for continued development in the province.
Mr Mbao also commended Mr Hichilema for attaching importance to culture and tradition, as evidenced by his decision to attend different traditional ceremonies across the country.
President Hichilema has since proceeded to Mungwi District, where he is attending the Ukusefya Pa Ng’wena Bemba Traditional Ceremony.
He is accompanied by several cabinet ministers, Members of Parliament, and MMD leader Nevers Mumba among others.
